Scotland’s Stephen Irvine will fight Thailand’s Suablack Tor Pran49 at ONE Fight Night 45 in the early hours of Saturday July 18, live on Sky Sports.

The 28-year old Irvine trains alongside friend and new ONE Interim Featherweight Muay Thai world champion Nico Carrillo at Deachkalek Muay Thai Academy and boasts a 30-4 career record (7-1 in ONE Championship).

Nicknamed ‘El Matador’, Irvine is enjoying a six-bout winning streak, which was capped by a first-round knockout victory over Rambong Sor Therapat last October.

That win earned Irvine a £75,000 contract and a spot on ONE Championship’s main roster with July’s Flyweight Muay Thai showdown marking his first fight since earning that deal.

His opponent is a popular Thai fighter who is known for his remarkably large and muscular legs with a 62-23 professional record (8-5 in ONE Championship).

Suablack, who is now 29, enjoyed a hot start in ONE Championship, but has experienced mixed results of late and goes into July’s bout on the back of a two-fight losing streak

Notably, Suablack will be making his official Flyweight Muay Thai debut against Irvine, having spent the earlier parts of his ONE Championship career competing in higher weight classes.

ONE Fight Night 45 will be live on Sky Sports in the early hours of Saturday July 18.
